Russia Olympic top official said has now
clear spots doping problem and it's on way to return to all international
competition.
Alexader Zhukov the Russian Olympic President
said Russia has introduced a range of strict new rules to combat the use of
drugs in sport after evidence of state-sponsored doping saw Russia's
track-and-field Olympic team and entire Paralympic squad banned from Rio
Olympic Games.
Zhukov said the overhaul included legislation to
jail coaches who force athletes to cheat as well as prison terms for any sports
involved in doping.
Zhukov said dozens of offenders had already been
punished and weeded out of system which is now fully independent and full
compliance with the World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA). "Our steps and
actions are systematic and consistent and being implemented today at all
level." Said Zhukov
